"In the 14 years of owning Voltaire, I have never had professional pictures taken, it is something I had thought about doing but put off.
2020 made many of us learn and realize a lot, and one of those learnings for me was, the world can turn over in an instant so do things that matter and you’ll be happy you did five, or more, years from now. Because of these images, I now have my horse at age 22, and me at age 28, frozen in time forever so now when I am old and grey I get to reminisce on the horse that was a part of making me the person I am today.
I always knew I never did Voltaire any justice when snapping pics of him on my phone. These images capture the silver dustings (aka grey hairs lol) time and a good life has given him. They capture the muscles, veins, and bones that make up his body and show his strength.
Catching these creatures behind camera is a gift, and doing it professionally is the only way to truly capture every detail of their beauty. Thank you again @franke_photo_design for the talent and time."
